Started in 2013 after retiring from working in a law enforcement and fire service career field in 2010, and commercial trucking until December 2012. I am new to the insurance industry as an agent, however, my past work experience includes being retired from the MI Dept. of Corrections, working as a corrections officer, trainer, and fire safety inspector from 1987 - 2010. Served as a Fire Officer III, Trainer, Fire investigator on Hanover Township and Carson City Fire Departments from 1998 - 2004. While serving on the fire departments and working as a state fire safety inspector I completed many emergency pre-plans for various types of occupancies. Before this time I worked in the real estate, construction, farming, retail sales, and military police career fields. I hold college degrees in business, fire science, and general studies; along with certificates in criminal justice and real estate. I want to put my previous work experience and education to work in being able to provide farmers, businesses, and individuals with the insurance products they need.
