Quality comes first, and I learnt this the hard way. The cheap key I got made from the hardware store broke off in the lock within a week. That’s when I hired Gold Locksmith Store. I’ve heard a lot about them. But did they live up to the hype? I must say, they definitely did! Gary managed to extract the broken pieces from the lock carefully to avoid causing any damage to it. He then made two new keys within 15 minutes. As I held the keys, I could make out the excellent workmanship on it, and could tell that the material used was of high quality. And the prices? Dave from Gold Locksmith Store is an honest man in a mostly dishonest business. I asked him to help my mom out with the deadbolt on her door. He went out to Fair Lawn, NJ without issue. I initially was expecting him to install a Medco lock with a new deadbolt but when he arrived he decided that all that was needed was some adjustments and he only charged us for service. He could have tricked my mom but he was honest and reliable. He actually arrived early. EARLY?!? How great is that? Dave, you are the man!!! Thank You. Mike was very pleasant, on time, and got the job done in about 15 minutes! i couldn't recomend these guys enough!!! I moved in to a walkup from a doorman elevator buildling, and i needed the cylinder of my top lock changed, i opted for the high security lock (I wasn't pressure at all to spend the extra money on one of these) and i'm happy i did! Mike did a great job and even gave us a discount on it! hopefully i wont ever get locked out, but if i do, or need anything from a locksmith, i'll be sure to call Gold Locksmith Store !

I found myself locked out of my apartment and just needed to get back in since my keys and spare were BOTH inside. My friends all quickly jumped in with horror stories about how much they had to pay when this happened to them, but after a little yelping, I came upon Gold Locksmith Store. Kobbi called me back that morning and despite it being the friday before Labor Day, said that he would stop by on his way out of town. While waiting for Jay I'd run into a neighbor who'd told me his sob story about how this had just happened to him and he had to pay something like $120, but even though my door had some crazy security bar on it, Kobbi managed to get it open and for only $50!
