Affordable and healthy meal prep for busy families Friend That Cooks Personal Chefs offer weekly meal prep for families in the Des Moines metro with busy schedules, food allergies or special diets. We send a talented personal chef to your home for a half day every week to shop, cook, clean up and stock your refrigerator with a week's worth of healthy prepared meals to reheat.
Our chefs are carefully selected and trained. They have the ability to prepare all your meals from scratch with fresh ingredients. We prefer local ingredients and you have the opportunity to have us buy organic and shop at your favorite grocery store. Our chefs must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test, and are bonded and insured.
Friend That Cooks charges a reasonable hourly rate for our services. An average family of four spends $140-185 per week on meal prep, plus the cost of groceries. Our clients have a lot of control over the cost for their service. We are the most affordable chef service of our kind in the metro.
