I rarely leave reviews but I was super impressed with the work done by Interstate Locksmith Shop that I simply had to. Found them online and submitted a request via their email [email protected] to help fix my front door gate. Got a call within 5 minutes, and a technician sent over to my place in the next 20 minutes! Didn’t expect them to respond this quick. The technician did a very neat job and charged me reasonably for it. Will I hire them again? I don’t see why not! Fast, friendly, and professional. I chose Interstate Locksmith Shop because of their great reviews. Now I understand that these raves are well-deserved! When I called Friday to schedule an appointment for my lock to be switched out (not an emergency), the guy on the phone was absurdly nice--like, apologized-for-putting-me-on-hold nice. He offered me an appointment slot for 9:30-10 on Saturday, and then apologized that he couldn't be more specific than that! Have these guys heard of Time Warner and their four-hour windows? Scott arrived right on time at 9:45 and got to work. He explained how the lock worked, told us everything we needed to know about ordering new keys, and even tightened the doorknob (free of charge) since it was loose. From buzzing our door to swiping the credit card on his Square reader, he was here less than 30 minutes. Working with Interstate Locksmith Shop was absolutely painless. Odd as it may seem, I wasn’t even on the lookout for locksmith services when I stumbled across this mobile van from Interstate Locksmith Shop. I needed a copy for my transponder car keys and asked if the technician could make it. He offered to make it then and there, within 30 minutes at a price that was less than half of what the dealership would otherwise charge. Amazed, I gave him the go-ahead and he got started. I called a couple of locksmiths in Rockville, MD 20850, and was quoted anywhere between $200 and $300 for the job. Interstate Locksmith Shop did it for $140 and also provided an extra set of keys free of charge. I think I’ve finally found a locksmith I can rely on for quality yet affordable service. I would, and have, recommend Interstate Locksmith Shop to anyone looking for a locksmith. Shon come the day after my inquiry to change our lock. He was very knowledgeable, giving us an overview on what the existing lock was like, etc. He even recommended a cheaper service that what I initially called him for after looking at our lock. Service was very quick, and he left everything clean and tidied up. Didn't rush us through or seem hurried, chatted with us throughout the entire install, even recommending a couple of great pizza spots in our neighborhood. It felt great working with someone who was friendly and didn't try to cheap us out of our money!
