Very pleased with the service! Lock & Key Store gave me no reason to complain. Arrived as per schedule, carried out the work in double quick time and honored the estimate they provided over the phone. I’ve hired countless other locksmiths in Melrose Park but no one could come close to the level of service they provide!

As far as I’m concerned, I don’t care much for swanky adverts by firms making over-the-top claims, for when it comes to fulfilling the promises in the real world, they fall short! I discovered this the hard way when I found myself locked out of my home and was left waiting for two solid hours before I contacted another firm. That other firm happened to be Lock & Key Store and the immediate response left me stunned. I regained entry within 30 minutes after placing the call to them. Since that day, I’ve always relied on Lock & Key Store for all my locksmithing needs. Excellent commitment and great teamwork! Keep up the good work guys!!! Can’t recommend them enough to people in Melrose Park, IL….

Turning my key upon returning home, the cylinder surrounding the key popped out. Pins went flying everywhere. My jaw dropped--locks aren't supposed to just break! But within five minutes, I'd regained my composure well enough to do a quick search online. Lock & Key Store came out at the top of my list, so I called and spoke to possibly the most pleasant professional ever. Our locksmith was out at the time, but he set an appointment for a few hours later and even showed up a few minutes early. He was visibly competent and worked fast, all while keeping up a friendly conversation and explaining what he was doing. Even though it turned out we needed to replace the whole lock, the total price was still well within reach. He even accepted our credit card via an app on his iPhone. Highly recommended.

Very professional and affordable! I needed a deadbolt but had mistakenly placed an order for a deadlatch. Despite placing an order for the wrong lock, John was extremely understanding, explained the difference between the two, confirmed what I needed and returned with the required lock within minutes. John is great – and completely charming! Recommend him and Lock & Key Store to anyone who needs locksmith services in Melrose Park, IL. They didn’t even charge me extra for making two trips due to my mix-up! Highly-recommended! They’ve got a wide range of services listed up on their website http://www.Seattle.Neighborhood-Locksmith-Store.com. Give them a try, I’m sure you’ll be glad you chose Lock & Key Store!

I guess I should’ve known better than tele-shop for a lock. Swayed by the flashy advert shown on the TV, I instantly ordered the new-age smart lock. Well, a week later, the ‘new-age smart lock’ I’d spent hundreds of bucks on locked me out of my own property. I thoroughly regretted my decision. It was obviously a fake, a view that was seconded by David from Lock & Key Store. He gave me a good price on the authentic version of the lock and it’s been working without a hitch for a few months now. I highly recommend getting your products from Lock & Key Store. Their prices are even lower than the market rate and you can trust them to provide genuine goods. Undoubtedly, the best locksmith firm in Melrose Park, IL…

Can’t complain about anything when it comes to Lock & Key Store! Found their service to be flawless! The rates are low which came as a huge surprise to me. I owned several apartment buildings across Melrose Park, IL and I knew the standard rates charged by most locksmiths. How these guys manage to provide their services at such low rates is beyond me!!!! I’ve called them over nearly four times now, and each time I’ve struck a really good deal in terms of the prices. Has greatly reduced the budget I set aside each year for lock changes, rekeying etc etc! With Lock & Key Store, I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for at great prices!

Ok, just adding to the mountain of good reviews here... The lock on the door to my apartment was busted. So I tried to save some pennies by posting an ad on Craig's list a method that has worked really well for me to hire my cleaning lady and various handymen for simple jobs. Anyway, after sorting through like 50 replies to the ad, which quoted me prices varying form $100 to $300, I chose some guy who said that he installs locks in hotels for a living for $100 who of course turned out to not know what he was doing. He did put in a good effort, staying wiht the job for like 5 hours! But the door knob was basically hanging off the door the next day after using it twice. Anyway, a week later after calling a bunch of legit locksmiths who wanted $80 to even look at the lock, and who wouldn't commit to a firm price, I called Lock & Key Store who fixed the mess that was made for $80 in like a half hour.

At half past 10p on a Monday night, there is nothing more annoying than a busted deadbolt that you cannot open when leftover Smith & Wollensky is in one hand and workout clothes in the other. I had been waiting for the day/night when my MacGyver skills would fail, or more accurately, the poor install would crumble. The cylinder could almost be pulled out and key parts of the cylinder had fallen. Applying pressure or shifting the key itself would not matter. I called the first listing populated by online and gleefully saw that Lock & Key Store operated beyond 6p. Really? Who gets home by 6p in this working world. The dispatcher took details of the situation on the phone and promised the repair man would be there in 30 minutes. Not two minutes later, the aforementioned repair man called to say he was 17 minutes away. 20 minutes passed and he was parked across my street. He deftly applied another method to the lock when a simpler version failed. Once the main parts were removed, the replacement deadbolt took a mere 2 minutes. I tested the two keys, and he wrote a receipt. Cash or charge is acceptable. Discover is even OK, which is rare in Melrose Park, IL. The fee for lock removal is $79 and lock replacement is another $79. $158 plus tax. I am getting reimbursed, so his timeliness and jovial customer service was much appreciated as I wanted to sleep more than anything. I highly recommend this company, and for midnight headaches, it is worth the cost. Quick and friendly service

I just can’t stop showering praises on these guys, and I’ve got plenty of reasons to do so! First, when I called in Lock & Key Store with a service request, the dispatcher was ever so polite and assured me of immediate help. I was locked out of my home, and while my stress levels were running on an all-time high, his assurance definitely helped calm me down. Second, it only took them ten minutes to get there. For a person who has previously waited for hours on end for a locksmith to arrive, this superfast response came as a pleasant shock. And then, when it comes to the service, Tony had the lock opened up in a few minutes without inflicting the slightest damage on it! Truly incredible! For all I know, Tony is the best locksmith I’ve ever come across in Melrose Park, IL..... Highly-recommend them to all! I even checked out their website http://www.Seattle.Neighborhood-Locksmith-Store.com, they’ve got great deals listed and their service list is so extensive that I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for!
