Our story begins with Grand Master Jun Lee. He is the only international-level Taekwondo gold medalist (1981 World Champion) in all of Maryland, DC, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Our school maintains a membership through the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) in Seoul, South Korea. In accordance with WTF regulations, we teach our students sparring techniques used in the Olympics, traditional poomsae (forms), and other skills personally developed by Grand Master Lee. We are a family-friendly Martial Arts school that specializes in teaching our students self-discipline, self-control, and self-defense through Taekwondo. In addition to normal Taekwondo lessons, we also offer after school care during the school year and camps during summer, winter, and spring breaks. As Taekwondo has grown in popularity over the years, we have found that the sport has a tendency to become highly commercialized and profit-driven at the expense of delivering a true Martial Arts experience.
