I couldn’t afford any more delays. I’d already waited 3 hours for a technician to arrive and get the spare keys made. I decided to cancel out on the firm I’d hired and called City Locksmith Services instead. From the point of placing my call to using the newly crafted keys, it took less than an hour! Believe it or not, that’s how fast these guys were!!!! Wish I hadn’t wasted so many hours on the other firm that claimed to provide ‘Fast’ service! My wife lost the key and fob to my car. This was the 4th business I called to get a quote to come out and reprogram a key and key fob. Dave came out within 45 minutes of my call. He quickly got to work and asked if I wanted the key fob as well and showed me the same type I had before. The whole service was about half of what the 3 other places quoted me. City Locksmith Services was ridiculously quick, professional, nice, and did it right. The price was good and the service even better. Can't recommend him enough. Business done the right way, for reals.

Nobody's perfect, but the key is to acknowledge mistakes and do something to make it right. There was a mix-up in the day of my appointment for a new lock, so Danny came that evening instead of the morning and gave me 50% off. He also told me the lock mechanism itself was perfectly solid and that rather than an extra lock, I only needed a new cylinder for security. That goes to show how honest he is because it meant it was cheaper for me and less money in his pockets. To add to all that, Danny is a super nice guy and was even great with my barky dog. In fact, when I asked if he accepted tips, he told me he donates them to Animal Haven. Awesome! You've really got to be good to mix-up the appointment and yet still get 5 stars. City Locksmith Services is that good! Completely worth it, and I'm guessing that the mix-up was an exception to the rule. Now I've got a fancy pick-resistant lock, more sense of security, and one of the most pleasant experiences with a Edmonds, WA company ever. I'm right there with everyone else - City Locksmith Services absolutely deserves their great ratings. After I had my purse stolen - with wallet and keys inside - I was dreading having to call around and figure out a locksmith to come and replace my locks. When I called Shon, they didn't have as many reviews here yet (this was over a year ago), but those that were there were good, so I gave them a shot. And I'm so happy I did - Shon was able to come by first thing the next day, and this was after contacting them late in the evening. Fast, punctual, professional, honest about prices - and on top of all this which I would consider quite enough to earn the 5 stars - he was super nice to my little niece and roommate's dog who were fascinated by what he was doing.
