Leave it to me to be a drunkass and lose my keys one month into moving into my new apartment after having lived in doorman buildings with extra keys for the past 8 years... I had my reasons for avoiding locksmiths, plumbers, and other servicemen. If you get charged 200 bucks for a job that isn’t worth even half the price, you’re bound to develop an aversion for them. But there are those times, when you’ve got no other go, but to simply give in and break your do-it-yourself rule! After a fallout with one of my neighbors, I needed to get my locks rekeyed and my MulTlocks weren’t that easy to be rekeyed by someone like me, though I’ve attempted installations and repairs in the past. Ordered a set of keys from the hardware store for cheap, and found one of them broken in less than 3 weeks. I decided not to use them anymore and called City Locksmith Store for assistance. Though I was okay with taking my key to their workshop in Palos Verdes Peninsula , these guys told me they’ll come to my place instead.
