Since I was new to Santee , I didn’t know anyone else and called them up without thinking twice. Very reliable, on time, and knows what to do. Got the job done in less than 30 minutes. Sadly, the new lock I installed on my door got busted within two weeks. Turns out, the locksmith who had the lock installed, not only did a poor job with the installation but also charged me a bomb for a poor-quality lock. I was furious! But there was no use now! i needed a deadbolt installed on my door and Jay was very helpful in choosing the right one for me without pressuring me towards the more expensive options. I made an appointment to have it installed that day but a couple hours after the agreed upon time I called to find out what had happened. Dave was extremely apologetic and got to the bottom of the problem right away. Turns out the guy that was supposed to install it had to go to the hospital! Leave it to me to be a drunkass and lose my keys one month into moving into my new apartment after having lived in doorman buildings with extra keys for the past 8 years... Finally decided I needed to get a new lock installed, and called this place on a late Saturday afternoon. When I told him I'd like him to come "as soon as possible" he said he would be able to come the next morning since I'm on the UWS...fine with me. About an hour and a half later he called again saying that he had a recommendation for a place closer to me that could come right away if I would like, since it sounded "urgent".
