We are specialized in Family Medicine, since 2009. Dr. Thao Phan was born in Vietnam and raised in Long Beach, California. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate education at UCSD. She received a BS in biochemistry and cell biology cum laude in 2001 and earned her Medical Degree in 2006. She was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society for “demonstrated excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service.” She then returned to Long Beach for residency, where she served as the Chief of Diabetes Care and was honored by her peers with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Resident as Teacher award. She has also served in Vietnam on two medical missions recently.
