We got locked out of our house the night before thanksgiving and were waiting outside in the cold freezing rain. Somehow, the replacement key I’d got managed to break in about two weeks. The worst part was that it just didn’t break at some random place, it broke inside the lock. Apparently, such stores use low-grade material and improper techniques to cut keys, hence, the absurdly short life. David got a new key made right there and I could definitely make out the difference in terms of quality. To my surprise, all this cost me less than what I’d paid at the store….
