Mike was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and explained everything he was doing (including improving on the original installations). Dave from Palos Hills Locksmith Store is an honest man in a mostly dishonest business. I asked him to help my mom out with the deadbolt on her door. He went out to Palos Hills, IL without issue. I initially was expecting him to install a Medco lock with a new deadbolt but when he arrived he decided that all that was needed was some adjustments and he only charged us for service. He could have tricked my mom but he was honest and reliable. He actually arrived early. EARLY?!? How great is that? Dave, you are the man!!! Thank You. Mike was very pleasant, on time, and got the job done in about 15 minutes! i couldn't recomend these guys enough!!! I moved in to a walkup from a doorman elevator buildling, and i needed the cylinder of my top lock changed, i opted for the high security lock (I wasn't pressure at all to spend the extra money on one of these) and i'm happy i did! Angry with myself and at the technician who’d sold it to me, I decided to set things right! I called Palos Hills Locksmith Store, after a co-worker recommended it to me. Lewis was simply marvelous! He was a fun person to interact with and provided some great advice on choosing locks. He recommended a few options and I trusted his judgment after he explained the reasons why I’d do well with a deadbolt! After the installation was complete, he assured me that the lock would last me for years. If I ever face some trouble (which is unlikely, according to Lewis), he offered to provide free service.
