Found them online and submitted a request via their email [email protected] to help fix my front door gate. Got a call within 5 minutes, and a technician sent over to my place in the next 20 minutes! Didn’t expect them to respond this quick. The technician did a very neat job and charged me reasonably for it. Will I hire them again? I don’t see why not! Henrry is a rockstar. Unbelievably prompt, friendly communication, plus he set up a time to change out my locks outside of their normal service area on the day I was leaving town. Nobody's perfect, but the key is to acknowledge mistakes and do something to make it right. There was a mix-up in the day of my appointment for a new lock, so Danny came that evening instead of the morning and gave me 50% off. He also told me the lock mechanism itself was perfectly solid and that rather than an extra lock, I only needed a new cylinder for security. That goes to show how honest he is because it meant it was cheaper for me and less money in his pockets. To add to all that, Danny is a super nice guy and was even great with my barky dog. In fact, when I asked if he accepted tips, he told me he donates them to Animal Haven. Awesome! You've really got to be good to mix-up the appointment and yet still get 5 stars. State Locksmith Services is that good! Completely worth it, and I'm guessing that the mix-up was an exception to the rule. Based on Company glowing reviews, I decided to call State Locksmith Services after an unfortunate incident with my foot and a doorknob (you read that correctly -- it's a long story). Erick is the third locksmith I've dealt with here in Bernardsville, NJ --- and easily the coolest. His price estimates are far lower than the others I've seen. So what's the catch? There wasn't. He was in and out in within 20 minutes. And in the end, he reassured me that the whole-foot-on-the-doorknob thing is more common than one would think.
