First of all, this is my first ever review. The service by Severn Locksmith Service was so phenomenal that it would be a crime if I didn’t leave out a well-deserved review for them. Joe went the extra mile to make sure I regained access to my vehicle again and made not one, but two keys. And it doesn’t stop there, he even provided great info on getting a remote lock without emptying my wallet for the same. It’s reassuring to know that there’s a locksmith in Severn that isn’t trying to rip people off. Will hire again and take the advice on upgrading the lock. But when my ignition threw up a tantrum in the middle of the road, I was left with no choice – it was either a locksmith or a car manufacturer – and I wasn’t too keen on the latter! After reading all the 5 star reviews online I figured I would give these guys a call but I was STILL skeptical because the company seemed too good to be true. Well... yelpers had it right all along. Gorge called me the morning after I wrote in on the website late the night before. Since my problem wasn't dire (I just had crappy locks) he arranged to come the next day and he was super professional, super personable and very straightforward. He looked at the locks, listened to the problems I was having, suggested a solution with the prices I already knew from the website and in 20 minutes I had an awesome new lock and doorknob installed by someone I felt cared about doing a good job. Gorge even told my boyfriend what kind of maintenance could be needed in the future to make sure the doorknob continues to work properly. I wish all repairs could be this easy and not sketchy. For all I knew, he could have easily overcharged me or installed a new lock, but James didn’t! In fact, he took his time to figure out what was wrong with my lock and had it fixed. I chose Severn Locksmith Service based online reviews. I needed my locks re-keyed on my new house. I called this evening at about 6:00 pm, and by 7:45 the job had been completed. James called back within a few minutes, and Mike came over within about 45 minutes of my call. I had 4 knobs and 3 deadbolts re-keyed, and the total cost was less than I was expecting when I called. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and efficient. James was friendly when he called to inquire about my needs, and Mike, who came to my home, was professional and friendly as well. If I were to need their service again, I would definitely give them a call.

Very friendly technician! I think his name was Dave! There was bad coverage in the locality where I was stuck, stranded out of my own car. I tried placing a call, but my call kept dropping and I resorted to typing an email though I knew that the chances of someone paying attention to my email were next to none. It was unbelievable when I got a response to my service request within ten minutes assuring me of help. Dave got there within ten minutes and helped me get back in my car!
