Thank you so much for bearing with me! If it had been someone else, they’d probably have slapped me with a heavy bill, but not Bethesda Locksmith Service. Despite John from Bethesda Locksmith Service insisting that they’d come over and get the measurements for door, I insisted on doing it myself and sent them the details. When the door was done and it didn’t fit, I thought it was a technical glitch on their side, but I was wrong. The dimensions I’d provided were incorrect, and I knew they were gonna charge me a bomb for this door as well as the right one – but they didn’t! In fact, John went out of his way to set things right! The door was sent for resizing and a few hours later, it was installed on my front door! Somehow, the replacement key I’d got managed to break in about two weeks. The worst part was that it just didn’t break at some random place, it broke inside the lock. So now there were pieces of the key stuck in the lock which made it impossible for me to operate it with the spare I had. I called Bethesda Locksmith Service on 301-810-4519! They were about the only ones who were open late at night, according to my neighbor. And sure enough, a rep answered my call and assured me of sending help right away. Within minutes, there was a locksmith at my doorstep. David was careful not to damage the lock while he extracted the broken pieces. He took one look at it and asked me if I’d got it made at a hardware shop. I did, yes, but how did he know that? Apparently, such stores use low-grade material and improper techniques to cut keys, hence, the absurdly short life. David got a new key made right there and I could definitely make out the difference in terms of quality. To my surprise, all this cost me less than what I’d paid at the store…. I’d just evicted a tenant and needed the lock changed. Anyway, once I showed him the lock I needed installed, Eric from Bethesda Locksmith Service told me that it wasn’t a great one and the existing one would do a better job at securing my property.
