We separate ourselves from other security companies as we do in-house background investigations by experienced active and retired law enforcement officers. All security officer applicants must go through a thorough hiring process which includes a screening process, interviewing with members of our management team, and passing a background investigation. We offer our clients computerized Daily Activity Reports (DAR’s) and monitor our guards activities through Voxer. All security officers employed by Atlas Private Security have a current Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (B.S.I.S.). Our screening process includes conducting reference and employment checks and Live-Scan fingerprints in an effort to hire only the most suitable security officers. This is in addition to the requirements set forth by B.S.I.S. Atlas Private Security personnel work 24/7 every day throughout the year to ensure that our valuable client’s property and assets are protected. In order to accomplish this task we require all security officers to undergo an extensive training program and perform continual post-checks on stationary assignments. The training program requires that the security officers are proficient and familiar with the assigned duties and will be mentored by a more senior or experienced field supervisor.Security Supervisors and Management Team – Our supervisors have all been hand-chosen and have satisfied all of the strict requirements set forth by Atlas Private Security. Supervisors maintain institutional knowledge and remain updated on client’s needs and expectations. Supervisors have a vast amount of experience in the private security industry and have been trained to handle any complaints or issues that should arise at any of our client’s properties. Armed or Unarmed Security Officers – Should our clients require the presence of an armed security officer, Atlas Private Security can adequately accommodate such requests. Guards who carry a firearm have all passed a firearm course conducted by B.S.I.S. and possess both a valid Guard Card and Firearm Permit.
