As far as I’m concerned, I don’t care much for swanky adverts by firms making over-the-top claims, for when it comes to fulfilling the promises in the real world, they fall short! I discovered this the hard way when I found myself locked out of my home and was left waiting for two solid hours before I contacted another firm. That other firm happened to be Stamford Expert Locksmith and the immediate response left me stunned. I regained entry within 30 minutes after placing the call to them. At half past 10p on a Monday night, there is nothing more annoying than a busted deadbolt that you cannot open when leftover Smith & Wollensky is in one hand and workout clothes in the other. I had been waiting for the day/night when my MacGyver skills would fail, or more accurately, the poor install would crumble. The cylinder could almost be pulled out and key parts of the cylinder had fallen. Applying pressure or shifting the key itself would not matter. I called the first listing populated by online and gleefully saw that Stamford Expert Locksmith operated beyond 6p. Really? Who gets home by 6p in this working world. The dispatcher took details of the situation on the phone and promised the repair man would be there in 30 minutes. Not two minutes later, the aforementioned repair man called to say he was 17 minutes away. 20 minutes passed and he was parked across my street. He deftly applied another method to the lock when a simpler version failed. Once the main parts were removed, the replacement deadbolt took a mere 2 minutes. I tested the two keys, and he wrote a receipt. Cash or charge is acceptable. Discover is even OK, which is rare in . The fee for lock removal is $79 and lock replacement is another $79. $158 plus tax. I am getting reimbursed, so his timeliness and jovial customer service was much appreciated as I wanted to sleep more than anything. Quality carries an expensive price tag – says who? When I hired Stamford Expert Locksmith based on everything I’ve read up on the web about them, I expected them to hand me a heavy bill after the work was done, but I couldn’t be more wrong! A new transponder key and a replacement of the lock on the car trunk came at a nominal price that left me too stunned for words. Every other place in Stratford, CT 06615 I’d made enquiries with quoted prices that were three times higher than what Stamford Expert Locksmith charged me. You guys are incredible! I usually don't write reviews but I guess I'l start now. I happened to lock myself out of my condo without my keys in my bag. I called Stamford Expert Locksmith after reading good reviews and by all means, they quoted me a set price and told me the driver would show up within 40 minutes. Sure enough they showed up (okay 45 minutes) and I got in to my place in 10 minutes. Will Definitely recommend.

I called Stamford Expert Locksmith and left a message, which was promptly returned by Paul, who was professional, polite and thorough in explaining who was going to be coming to my home. (A solace to a woman). The locksmith arrived on time, and he was exquisitely precise and neat. He explained what he was doing each step of the way. He spread paper to catch the drill shavings and cleaned up afterwards. He gave me some safety tips before he left. Come to think of it, I should have married him. I chose Stamford Expert Locksmith based online reviews. I needed my locks re-keyed on my new house. I called this evening at about 6:00 pm, and by 7:45 the job had been completed. James called back within a few minutes, and Mike came over within about 45 minutes of my call. I had 4 knobs and 3 deadbolts re-keyed, and the total cost was less than I was expecting when I called. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and efficient. James was friendly when he called to inquire about my needs, and Mike, who came to my home, was professional and friendly as well. If I were to need their service again, I would definitely give them a call.

I needed a transponder key made. The one that I had I’d lost it somewhere and had been using public transportation to commute to work ever since.
