Accidentally locked myself out of my apartment while both my roommates were out of town. The super wasn't picking up and I didn't know what else to do. Found Gary Star Locksmith online and decided to give it a shot. Best decision of the night. Not only were they super friendly, but they were also able to help me get my door open. Isaac is the best. Recently moved into new digs and needed my locks changed. Was hard not to go with these guys given the rave reviews. I called Gary Star Locksmith , Gorge picked up, went over my options high security lock for $149 and cylinder change for $79. Seemed reasonable so made an appointment for the next morning. Guy showed up and he handed me his card when he arrived to verify who he was with. Changed my locks within a half hour and was very friendly and answered all my questions. With the extra set of keys and paying in cash, came out to about $250. Felt the service was good, and more importantly, it was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend to others! Very good job keep up guys

Ok, just adding to the mountain of good reviews here... The lock on the door to my apartment was busted. So I tried to save some pennies by posting an ad on Craig's list a method that has worked really well for me to hire my cleaning lady and various handymen for simple jobs. Anyway, after sorting through like 50 replies to the ad, which quoted me prices varying form $100 to $300, I chose some guy who said that he installs locks in hotels for a living for $100 who of course turned out to not know what he was doing. He did put in a good effort, staying wiht the job for like 5 hours! But the door knob was basically hanging off the door the next day after using it twice. Anyway, a week later after calling a bunch of legit locksmiths who wanted $80 to even look at the lock, and who wouldn't commit to a firm price, I called Gary Star Locksmith who fixed the mess that was made for $80 in like a half hour.

I was about to leave on a vacation and needed a new lock on my door to ensure that I didn’t return to a burgled home. It was 2:00 am and I doubted any locksmithing firm would be open at that hour. But I did find this place online that promised 24/7 availability on their website http://www.GaryStarLocksmith.com and decided to give them a dry. Twenty minutes later, Dave arrived on the scene. After an assessment, he recommended that I get a deadbolt installed on the door as it was the best fit for my security requirements. I thought that he’d have to make his way back to the store to fetch the deadbolt but I was wrong. The van he came in had it all! I chose from a set of options, the installation was done in a few minutes and I was on my to a blissful weekend in Rome. I don’t think there’s any company in Gary , IN that could match Gary Star Locksmith in terms of quality and affordability. They are simply the best!!!
