Ed Benavides is advertising on his google website as an “Insurance Attorney” out of Rochester, Michigan. He is not an attorney. He is only a public adjuster; and a terrible one at that. Ed is fraudulently marketing himself to get clients. He also commits fraud by submitting false proof of loss documentation into the insurance company. Ed Benavides is preying on vulnerable people at a time of their most devastating loss. He is stealing from people of their life possessions. He commits fraud on their claims and leaves them with no altenative but to settle for less than what the insurance company owes. He works on a contingency % of the settlement amount and therefore documents posessions policyholders do not have on their insurance proof of loss. He also holds on to his clients settlement checks for long extensive months without informing them. He takes a percentage from the very first lowball settlement check the policyholder receives before they hire him; when they hire him due to needing help and out of desperation he tells the policyholder (his now client) to not settle for that first low ball offer to send the check back, and then the insurance will resend the check to him at his address in his name because he is your PA with all the power of attorney rights.
