Nearly 4 firms denied service past midnight, stating reasons such as my concern not being important enough or that my home was too far off from the city! How was it not important enough? I just moved to a new place and I noticed that previous tenant had been coming back to get his mail. So I figured why not change the mailbox lock and also get the locks to my door re-keyed. The mailbox lock was easy to swap out by myself. But for the re-keying I needed a pro. I checked Online and the only one I found around me with reputable ratings was Ridgefield Locksmith Store. They're based in Ridgefield, NJ. I called in the morning while waiting for cable guy (who was late as expected) and sure enough they had availability for late afternoon and gave me a fixed price for the job. Dave said he could be there around 5:30 or 6. Fine by me. I get a call from Dave at 4:30 saying he can make it even earlier. Great!!! He shows up at 4:45. The work was quick despite problems with my fancy Omnia locks. He gets the job done and I'm good to go. He even grinded the deadbolt hole to make the lock easier to turn. Great service and I'll be sure to contact them anytime for any locksmith services.

Very Good service. Professional and veery courteous. Got me out of a jam that was my own making. Thought I could do it myself. Caught an advert recently on TV for a voice-activated lock and ordered it right away. I had a thing for all things tech and I just couldn’t miss out on this one! It worked fine for a week but after that, there was a considerable drop in the performance, and the troubles kept mounting up day after day. I decided to call someone to take a look at the nearly useless $200 lock. After Jones from Ridgefield Locksmith Store took a look, he confirmed my worst fear. The lock was of the worst quality and had I waited a little longer, I’d have either been locked out of my own home or would have returned to a burgled home. Jones was strictly against products advertized on telly. According to him, they are either fake or overpriced. Well, my two-hundred bucks were gone! Wish I’d received that piece of info earlier. Nevertheless, Jones got a new lock installed, a far better one at a modest price! From now on, I’m only relying on his advice for all things related to locks. I simply must share this one! Best experience I had with these guys over at Ridgefield Locksmith Store! I needed to replace a busted deadbolt right away. I looked online and found a couple of firms, but none of them worked after 5 pm. Seriously??? Who gets back home at 5 pm these days? Somehow I landed up on http://www.RidgefieldLocksmithStore.com, which offered 24/7 service. I heaved a sigh of relief and called them up. I didn’t even care much for the pricing, as all I cared about was the safety of my property. But the dispatcher insisted on stating my problem and gave me an upfront price right over phone! Wow! John came over within a few minutes and replaced the lock with a new one. I couldn’t believe that the cost for the new lock, the call-out fees and the installation charges barely added up to $60. Definitely opting for Ridgefield Locksmith Store again! And I recommend that you give them a try too if you happen to live in Ridgefield, NJ!
