Being new to Akron, OH, I didn’t know if there was any competent locksmith around. Somehow, the replacement key I’d got managed to break in about two weeks. The worst part was that it just didn’t break at some random place, it broke inside the lock. Apparently, such stores use low-grade material and improper techniques to cut keys, hence, the absurdly short life. David got a new key made right there and I could definitely make out the difference in terms of quality. To my surprise, all this cost me less than what I’d paid at the store…. PHENOMENAL!!! I just don’t think there’s another word that befits the description of what Akron Star Locksmith is all about! Don’t know which is better, their services or the low rates at which they offer them.. My daughter ended up locking herself out of our home (for the umpteenth time) only last week. LOVE Akron Star Locksmith ! Our bottom lock - that had been installed less than a year ago by another guy - had been sticking for months now and I figured we should get that fixed. Spotted a Living Social deal and snapped it up quick. Very easy to schedule, though they seem busy! When Edwardo arrived he was very efficient and professional. Was able to explain what was going on and what went wrong. (The previous locksmith had given us an old gnarly lock!) Replaced it, charged what was on the website, and he was off! Great to work with - we'll definitely be using him for future locksmithing!

When my lock stopped operating one fine day, I wasn’t too keen on calling a locksmith. I’ve heard how pricey they could be and decided to install a new lock myself.
