Service was great! I don’t think I can find any better in Portland, OR 97230. The technician was friendly and knew his job very well. I needed a new set of keys on an urgent basis. Their website https://www.PortlandLockMaster.com had mentioned that they offered 24 hour services at no extra charges and true to their word, I was charged only for the keys and wasn’t billed for the hour I’d requested service in ( which was 11:30 pm). Highly recommend Portland Lock Master to all! If you’re in an emergency, you can count on them completely!

I'd like to write this review, not for services rendered; but, rather for excellent customer service, which we all know is a rarity these days. I spoke with Paul extensively about replacing a lock, and even exchanged picture messages (upon his suggestion) so that he could better assess my situation. He not only educated me on the different types of locks/security devices; but, also offered to walk me through the purchase and replacement, which he suggested I do myself. Wait, what? A business owner who encourages a DIY project, so that I can keep some money in my pocket? Courtesy, professionalism and expertise all wrapped in one. Yeah, he has this field on lock. I'll always call Portland Lock Master first, in future endeavors!

Eric is the best!!! He worked his magic and got the dead smart lock working again… I expected him to charge me a bomb for calling him up after business hours, but surprisingly he didn’t! Paul is so nice! He saved my ass today. I have no idea how did I lose my car key. Paul returned my call in 10min and showed up in 40min. He said if my key is inside of car. It will be $98 only which surprised me because I have an experience with $200. Unfortunately the key was totally lost. So he provide a new replacement key for $195. And I want a second backup one with Chip for $50. Also I am a member of AAA. So Paul helped me to call AAA for discount. I don’t know why I was even worried! Portland Lock Master made the process seemed so easy! There was to be an assessment by my insurance company the next morning and I knew my age-old locks weren’t gonna make a good impression. I decided to get my locks changed. But the challenge was coaxing a locksmith to come in at 1:00 am to do the job. After a few locksmiths denied service and a few didn’t even bother answering the call, I stumbled across http://www.PortlandLockMaster.com. The website claimed 24/7 service and I hoped that they really meant that! Within thirty minutes of placing the call, Ron had reached my place. After taking a look at my locks, he suggested that I needn’t get rid of all my locks as a few were still good enough to get me past the assessment. That was news to me! And if he hadn’t taken the privilege to bring it to my notice, I would have ended up spending a lot of money that night! An hour later, he was done replacing my locks with brand new ones and fixed up a few faulty ones! And the total bill – it was way less than I expected it to be. After losing my key for like the umpteenth time, I decided it was time I stopped paying up for copy keys and do something about it. Besides, it wasn’t safe, as my neighbor knowingly pointed out! What if it falls into the wrong hands? Well, I didn’t wanna end up inviting a stranger to my place to do away with my stuff. I called Gary up on 503-716-1408 and he was just so understanding! I thought rekeying was a good option, but Gary had other plans. Based on my record of losing keys, he said I’d probably lose them again and end up needing his service. Instead, he suggested I get an electronic lock installed that opened with a passcode. The idea instantly appealed to me - remembering a code did seem easier than remembering where I misplaced my keys! It was the cost that worried me. Gary put me at ease and made me an offer I just couldn’t refuse! I still can’t believe how less it had all cost me. No more lost keys! The lock seemed custom-made just for me! I called to set up an appointment for tomorrow to fix door cylinder with Portland Lock Master I was told my call would be returned so I could get an estimate and set up appt. time. My call was returned by Bob within 5 minutes. I sent him 3 pictures to determine the problem. Paul told me that he could tell me how to fix the problem myself and there was no need for them to come out..so in 3 minutes my lock was fixed over the phone. How fantastic is that...
