After losing my key for like the umpteenth time, I decided it was time I stopped paying up for copy keys and do something about it. Besides, it wasn’t safe, as my neighbor knowingly pointed out! What if it falls into the wrong hands? Well, I didn’t wanna end up inviting a stranger to my place to do away with my stuff. I called Gary up on 847-457-1092 and he was just so understanding! I thought rekeying was a good option, but Gary had other plans. Based on my record of losing keys, he said I’d probably lose them again and end up needing his service. Instead, he suggested I get an electronic lock installed that opened with a passcode. The idea instantly appealed to me - remembering a code did seem easier than remembering where I misplaced my keys! It was the cost that worried me. Gary put me at ease and made me an offer I just couldn’t refuse! I still can’t believe how less it had all cost me. No more lost keys! The lock seemed custom-made just for me! Managing the keys was getting hectic and it wasn’t long before someone managed to sneak off a key from the key bunch and use it to gain access to the storage area. I needed a solution and called up City Locksmith Shop for the same. Ronnie was very helpful and listened keenly to my requirement. He provided two options: install keyless locks or rekey to a master key system. I didn’t really have the budget to replace all the locks in the property with the digital ones and so I told him to go ahead with the second option. From 24 keys, the number was brought down to 3 with one master key that operated all the locks. Ronnie even installed a key safe to ensure there is no key theft in the future. Nearly every other locksmith I’d called up in Hoffman Estates asked me to bring the lock to their shop. Apparently, they only provided on-call service for big issues. By big, I knew they meant those issues where they had the chance to make big money. I had a lot of other things to take care of at home and I just couldn’t run around town trying to get the lock fixed. Frustrated, I kept calling a few numbers I found on the net, but to no avail.
