He earned his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Florida and his juris doctor degree from Drake Law School right here in Iowa. He honed his legal skills helping real people and organizations as a student transactional attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic. Carl further trained in the fields of business law and intellectual property protection while working in the legal department at quintessential Iowa corporation Kinze Manufacturing. Also, every day he learns more about the nuts and bolts of operating a small business by operating his own. Carl is not only licensed to practice law in the state of Iowa, he has also earned the distinction of being a patent attorney registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
