Litia and Sione aka Cione Mafi are wife/husband owners/contractors. Sione worked with their son 19-yr-old son Eddy and Henry an older man their handyman friend. Litia said she is foreman to make sure her crew do their jobs. However she wasn't present everyday. Henry worked daily since Dec 6 from 8am to sometimes 8pm. Eddy worked half day. Sione didn't work for several days. Litia said they were having arguments, said she was tired of him and was getting a lawyer to divorce him. They were constantly having arguments at our property. Litia indicated on the contract 7 to 10 to at most 14 days to complete the project; after 15 days none of the jobs is completed. They worked v slow, their workmanship was very poor.On Dec 22 at 9am, Sione showed up said he was picking up his tools,said he's just an employee and his wife Litia hasn't paid him. We called Litia,she in turn told us to call the police on her husband. Why should we? we asked her. She said she was very busy and quickly hung up. Henry also called but she didn't answer. Henry said he hasn't been paid since he started. Litia called Henry told him to continue work. Henry asked her to pay him first. She said was very busy with her lawyer, she hung up again. Henry picked up his tools and left. We file complaints against Litia Mafi with the police and Contractor Board. She took $6500 cash, $3780 HD giftcard, a garage remote opener, 2 jacks. Loss/damage costs: clean up $700, 4 damaged Ikea cabinets $500, re-wire garage door $320.
