I strongly recommend that you look at Duval Paving's rating with the Florida Better Business Bureau, they score an F which is a generous grade. There are plenty of Asphalt pavers in the Saint Augustine area that are BBB accredited. After going out of his way to pick up the deposit check it took 4 weeks before I was able to contact John. Had to threaten the BBB before he contacted me and did the work. Workmanship was shoddy, the driveway showed damage after one week. He doesn't honor his 2 year material & labor guarantee. Been 11 weeks and counting since he promised the repair. Still waiting. John is not a man of his word. Empty promises and shoddy workmanship are all he will deliver. Buyer's beware!!! FYI; Take the ratings on Duval's web site with a grain of salt. Won't allow me to post mine.

Beware of these lying contractors. They installed a 500’ millings driveway for me. Was supposed to be 3” thick millings and 10’ wide. Got 1/2 to 1 1/2” thick millings and two thirds of drive 7 to 8 1/2’ wide! These were measured by two of his own employees! Been trying to get some resolution since May 8th! John continues to lie to me about resolving issue which he agrees need resolving. Beware, beware!! Ray Dyal, Gainesville, Fl. Well again John has lied to me! He promised me last week (as he has many times before) that he would send me a check for $1,000 to settle our dispute that he did not give us anywhere near what we paid for as confirmed by his own two men! That would be last Monday the 21st! True to your everlasting lying self John!

Duval paving redone our driveway 11/15/2013. The work stll looks good they were fair and the price was good.

After checking several other paving companies, we finally decided on The duval Paving Company. John was conscientious and clearly takes pride in his work . He did everything possible to make us happy. The crew also did a great job and had everything cleaned-up before leaving.
