Maqbool A. Salam, MD, is an established radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging and currently serving his patients at Medical Imaging of D Maqbool A. Salam, MD, is an established radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging and currently serving his patients at Medical Imaging of Dallas in Texas. Medical Imaging of Dallas, LLP (MID) was founded in 1976 and has grown into a 15 physician radiology group proudly serving the DFW community. Specialties they serve include Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Pediatric Radiology, and Ultrasound and Mammography. Dr. Salam is also affiliated with Lewisville Medical Center and Medical Center of Arlington. Dr. Salam studied medicine at The Madras Medical College, an educational institution located in Chennai, India, and established in 1835. Upon completing his degree, he trained at Brown University (Pathology), Baylor College of Medicine (Pathology), Oregon Health and Science University (Nuclear Medicine), University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Health System (Radiology), and Dallas Medical Center. He is board certified in radiology by the American Board of Radiology and also in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Salam is also a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and was the recipient of the Best Doctor in Dallas Award (2007-2010).
