First, I want to apologize for the lengthy review but I need to give background on the issue that I am having with ADT. Less than 2 years ago, I received a letter from ADT stating that some part of my system needed to be upgraded and that I must call the 1-800 number provided in the letter to schedule this work. I called and made an appointment and was given a date and 4 hr time frame of when the 3rd party contractor would arrive at my home. I waited and no one showed up. I called ADT to inquire about the technician's whereabouts and was told that technician had already been to my home and completed the work. I reiterated to ADT that no one showed up and the technician basically lied and got paid for work that was never done. ADT agreed to schedule another appointment for this work and AGAIN, no one showed up. Again I called ADT to inquire about the technician and AGAIN I was told that the technician said they had been inside my home to perform this upgrade. I had lost valuable time that I will never get back by waiting at my home and nobody ever showing up to do the work. After expressing severe discontent to ADT, the associate told me that my system would continue to work w/o this work. Since that time, we would receive intermittent beeps from the alarm panel at odd times every few months. The panel would show communication trouble but the system still worked. This beep was infrequent. We were able to arm, disarm, the motion sensor worked, etc. When we called ADT, they tell
