A mobile van stopped in front of my place in the next 15 minutes, and I watched Gary as he worked from his van and made the keys for me. Mike from Arlington Locksmith Store was amazing. He was professional, friendly, and did the whole lock change in like 15 minutes. He talked to me throughout changing my locks, and explained everything to me as he was doing it. He told me funny anecdotes about his work, and really just brought a huge smile to my face. When I saw all the amazing reviews, I thought "can a locksmith really be this great?" Yes. They Can. I got locked out of my apartment the other night, with a busted doorknob that wouldn't turn. And he completely fixed my doorknob all for under $100 late night. I’m not exatly what you’d call a review person. In fact this could easily be the first ever detailed review that I’m posting online. A few weeks ago, I ended up misplacing my key bunch. I’d just evicted a tenant and needed the lock changed. When I called them up on 703-828-9070 and asked them to help me install a new lock I’d purchased from the nearby hardware shop, little did I expect them to get there so fast. I think the technician arrived in about ten minutes! Wow, that was super quick! Anyway, once I showed him the lock I needed installed, Eric from Arlington Locksmith Store told me that it wasn’t a great one and the existing one would do a better job at securing my property. I couldn’t believe it! I’d just paid $100 for it, and Eric dismissed it as something completely useless. That’s when he explained how a DIY rekeyable lock wasn’t great for security. If you could do it, anyone could do it – that’s what he said! He had a point! I planned on returning the lock. Eric suggested that I rekey the existing the lock, which I did! Being a single parent wasn’t easy. I had to juggle between work, household chores and take care of my 2-year old son. To make things easier, I hired a babysitter to look after Rob while I was away.
