We've been using HHP for probably close to 7 years - once we found them, we've never used another daycare/boarding/grooming place. Staff feel like family and our dogs love going to play and get some energy out. Staff are very attentive and have called me when they've noticed something unusual with any of our dogs. Their grooming services are fantastic - my mom always comments on how white and soft their fur is after they have a bath. There are no cages and our girls can run around or snooze away. Highly recommend - we feel completely safe leaving our girls in HHP's hands!

We've been taking our dog here pretty much since HHP opened. The play areas for the dogs are great, the staff is always friendly, courteous and at the end of the day Bodhi is tired out and ready to chill at home. The grooming that's been added on in recent years is excellent. A bath, deshed and nail trim every 3-4 months -- perfect. Erik is very professional, friendly and willing to talk and answer any questions. HHP is top notch.

Our dogs have been visiting Healthy Hound Playground since 2013. The staff are extremely friendly and do a wonderful job providing a safe and fun play area for the dogs. The facility is very clean and spacious for the dogs to get plenty of exercise. HHP is the absolute best doggy daycare and boarder in the area!

Healthy Hound Playground (HHP) is our family’s top choice for dog daycare, dog boarding, and dog grooming/dog bathing. This is the only boarding facility we have used in the last 20 years that has fully committed to taking dogs outside regularly to relieve themselves. Having had dogs revert to non-house trained behavior after boarding elsewhere was really deflating, especially given how difficult it had been to house train our rescued dog. When at HHP, our dog plays her heart out and always has a great time. Arranging for bathing means we bring a nice fresh clean snuggly pup home after we have been away.

The dog grooming at Healthy Hound is absolutely fantastic. My dog's haircut was perfect - they did exactly what I asked, and he smelled soooo good from the spa bath. Nails were included and were taken down to a good length with the grinder. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. My dog seemed happy when I picked him up. I live in Reston and they're not far. I highly recommend them.

Healthy Hound Playground (HHP) is just amazing with their level of service, providing care for dogs and maintaining their excellent facility. We have been sending our dog, Rio, to HHP for day care and boarding since HHP opened 7 years back, and we are greatful to them for taking care of Rio. I have spoken to other dog parents in the Sterling/Herndon area and from what I have heard, HHP does a phenomenal job compared to rest when it comes to their very personable level of service and facility offering. Rio loves HHP, every morning he is actually ready to be dropped off at HHP, and gets anxi if we are a little behind schedule. As dog parents, it is satisfying to see him come back home nice and tired from all the play with his doggy buddies. The spacious facility gives him the opportunity to run around and expend his energy to the fullest. The staff here are genuine dog lovers which comes across in the care they provide and the way they interact with not only Rio but with other dogs as well. Just like one of their own! HHP has really upped their game since they opened their dog grooming and bathing service. Not only excellent service but it can't get any simpler and easier than having everything at one place, and I don't have to run from one end of the town to the other trying to get my dog bathed and groomed. I would most definitely recommend Healthy Hound Playground (HHP) to all the dog parents.
