Best customer service experience I have had in Portland, OR. There was an error in communication for my appointment but Dave made sure that I still received my lock installation as soon as possible. He also noticed a poor installation of the lock with missing screws by my landlord and made sure to correct the issue and replace the screws. It is comforting to know that you can receive good customer service in this Portland, OR especially when it comes to a situation as important as your safety regarding your locks.

I had just moved into my condo and so many people promised to help put in my deadbolt lock and time after time, they would never show up. I knew it was time to call in a professional, after reading all the reviews I decided to reach out to Portland Central Locksmith. Holy Moley! Not only is he great too look at, but he does a great job and cleans up after wards. Ahhhh if more men were like that! Leave me wanting more!! lol!! Ok, just adding to the mountain of good reviews here... The lock on the door to my apartment was busted. So I tried to save some pennies by posting an ad on Craig's list a method that has worked really well for me to hire my cleaning lady and various handymen for simple jobs. Anyway, after sorting through like 50 replies to the ad, which quoted me prices varying form $100 to $300, I chose some guy who said that he installs locks in hotels for a living for $100 who of course turned out to not know what he was doing. He did put in a good effort, staying wiht the job for like 5 hours! But the door knob was basically hanging off the door the next day after using it twice. Anyway, a week later after calling a bunch of legit locksmiths who wanted $80 to even look at the lock, and who wouldn't commit to a firm price, I called Portland Central Locksmith who fixed the mess that was made for $80 in like a half hour.

Ben, the locksmith, showed up on time 5 min early actually and even taught me how to do it myself in the future. It was done quickly. Ben is very personable and as an added bonus, he's a total cutie!! In a nutshell, great service at a reasonable price. Turning my key upon returning home, the cylinder surrounding the key popped out. Pins went flying everywhere. My jaw dropped--locks aren't supposed to just break! But within five minutes, I'd regained my composure well enough to do a quick search online. Portland Central Locksmith came out at the top of my list, so I called and spoke to possibly the most pleasant professional ever. Our locksmith was out at the time, but he set an appointment for a few hours later and even showed up a few minutes early. He was visibly competent and worked fast, all while keeping up a friendly conversation and explaining what he was doing. Even though it turned out we needed to replace the whole lock, the total price was still well within reach. He even accepted our credit card via an app on his iPhone. Highly recommended.

I found Portland Central Locksmith through Online and it was easily the best experience I've had with a locksmith so far in my life. Fellow named Scott showed up right on time and did a fantastic job leaving me with a better lock that was more well installed than I'd had before. It was a more labor intensive job than it could have been and he did the work admirably and I was charged the same rate discussed from the start. I cant envision having a better experience with a locksmith really, and I would recommend Portland Central Locksmith to anyone I know who would need a locksmith.

When my lock stopped operating one fine day, I wasn’t too keen on calling a locksmith. I’ve heard how pricey they could be and decided to install a new lock myself. I purchased a cheap lock based on the suggestion of the guy at the nearby hardware shop, took out my toolkit and got down to work! An hour later, I’d somehow, successfully managed to break a brand new lock into pieces!!! That was the stretching point! I gave in and looked online for help. The technician who came over took one look at the lock and identified that I’d bought it at a hardware shop. Was it that obvious? Anyway, he suggested that I replace the lock with a new deadbolt. I was all out of cash and didn’t think I could afford another replacement, but he quoted an incredible price that I simply couldn’t say no to! Amazingly low prices and well-informed technicians! I’m always gonna ring up Portland Central Locksmith for any security advice and locksmith service!

I made it quite clear that I couldn’t schedule another date if they missed this appointment. I was leaving for town the next morning and before I left, I needed a new lock on my front door. However, the locksmith didn’t show up. Thankfully, despite not making an advance appointment, Anderson form Portland Central Locksmith somehow managed to squeeze me into his schedule and got there within half an hour. Good service! He discussed all the options with me before proceeding and also explained the difference between my old cylinder lock and the one he was installing ( without me asking). Overall, I think their service is great and I would feel 100% comfortable calling them again if I ever needed a locksmith in Portland, OR again! ThanksPortland Central Locksmith!!

If it wasn’t for Portland Central Locksmith, I’d probably have spent the night in that dingy old parking lot. I shudder to even think of what would have happened if these guys hadn’t rushed to the spot! Jerry and his entire team at Portland Central Locksmith are simply awesome. I would, and have, recommend Portland Central Locksmith to anyone looking for a locksmith. Shon come the day after my inquiry to change our lock. He was very knowledgeable, giving us an overview on what the existing lock was like, etc. He even recommended a cheaper service that what I initially called him for after looking at our lock. Service was very quick, and he left everything clean and tidied up. Didn't rush us through or seem hurried, chatted with us throughout the entire install, even recommending a couple of great pizza spots in our neighborhood. It felt great working with someone who was friendly and didn't try to cheap us out of our money!
