So, I needed a new lock. After enquiring in several stores, I finally struck a good bargain down at a hardware shop. But what came after was something I didn’t anticipate! I’ve attempted lock installations on my windows a couple of times, and was confident I could nail this one too. If you’ve never been in a car lockout before, well, I envy you! It was one of the worst I’d felt my entire life. Jefrry was incredible. I've never come across such a kind-hearted stranger before... As luck would have it, I got locked out of my apartment the day I moved in, which happened to coincide with the weekend that Jeffry went out of town AND his back-ups called in sick, so there was no one from Grand Prairie Locksmith Store to help me out. I could sense that Jeffry was truly sorry that this was happening, and then referred me to another company and told me exactly what to say. When it turned out they were closed, he told me to let him know when I found someone, and again when I was in my apartment. The guy that did end up showing up at my house immediately wanted to drill, but thanks to Jefrry I knew what to say to avoid that and another $350+ out of my pocket. When I called to let him know that I was in my apartment and told him what happened, I heard his girlfriend in the background exclaim her happiness over that - that's how nice they are! Didn’t know if they’d really live up to the tall claims they’d made, but decided to give them a shot anyway. I scheduled an appointment for 8pm. Eric was ten minutes early and stood waiting on the porch, ready with his toolkit. I’d never met a locksmith who looked that enthusiastic at the prospect of removing a few rusty old locks. He went about his job like a total pro, explained what he was about to do clearly, gave me a couple of options and gave me the precise amount he’ll charge for it! This came as a complete surprise as I didn’t expect him to be this upfront! Also, the price he quoted seemed less for the magnitude of the job he was about to carry out. I was sure he’ll throw in a few extra charges on the final bill, but to my amazement I was proved wrong… Eric is incredible and kudos to the entire team at Grand Prairie Locksmith Store for providing outstanding services in Grand Prairie, TX.
