Gary from Midlothian Local Locksmith clearly told me that the lock I’d purchased from the hardware store wasn’t the real thing and advised me to change it as soon as I have the money for a new lock. This Locksmith Company was fantastic. Very reasonably priced, very quick and professional and, as an extra, I got my door realigned (I never even knew it was not properly aligned, but I realized it was better afterwards) and I got some safety tips. Definitely the go-to guy for locksmith services in the area.

Being a single parent wasn’t easy. I had to juggle between work, household chores and take care of my 2-year old son. To make things easier, I hired a babysitter to look after Rob while I was away. Barely a week after I’d hired her, she managed to get herself locked out. To make things worse, she tried to bust open the lock. After all the ruckus she’d created, she decided to call me up. I locked my car key in my trunk last night and since I don't have a spare, I needed a locksmith to help me out. First thing in the morning, I called Midlothian Local Locksmith and the woman on the phone told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour until the guy would show up. He was at my apartment building within 40 minutes. Paul is the guy who came out and helped me and he was very polite. He is also the owner. We went down to my car and it took him about 30 seconds to open my car door so I could pop the trunk and get my key. He even unloaded all the things in my trunk for me and found the key using his flashlight. The total charge was only $89 even. What a steal! Hopefully this never happens to me again but if it does, I'll definitely call Midlothian Local Locksmith ! :)

Fantastic Locksmith service. We needed to rekey our locks after moving. Apparently hardware stores will do this - if you bring the locks in! It was never made clear to me how that's supposed to work - one guy actually said, "Uh, maybe someone stands by the door at home." So anyway, I asked one store if they could refer a company who does onsite service. They did, and I got a quote for about $350. Midlothian Local Locksmith - who I found on here - was able to do it for half that. They were helpful, patient, and clear. Paul was the guy I arranged things with, and James actually did the work that day. It was simple, easy, quick, and affordable.

Midlothian Local Locksmith did a fantastic job in re-keying my locks. There was a mix-up in dispatch regarding my address so it took two hours longer to get there than they were supposed to. But the friendliness and quality of work was great and the price was a fraction of the price of Baldinos. I Highly recommend Midlothian Local Locksmith !

Okay, I joined Online tonight just to leave this review. The dispatcher and David the locksmith were both awesome, really helpful and nice. It took about 20 minutes for him to arrive, and he explained each method he tried, and some information about my type of lock. The last time I had to have a lock opened, the guy took one look at my door (same one) and told me it had to be drilled, then charged $200 to do it. I was left with the replacement bill from my landlord, too. I told the Midlothian Local Locksmith folks about this, and they confirmed it's a common scam. They'll offer a low price, then drill and charge a ton. Thanks to David and Midlothian Local Locksmith !!!

I don’t know why I was even worried! Midlothian Local Locksmith made the process seemed so easy! There was to be an assessment by my insurance company the next morning and I knew my age-old locks weren’t gonna make a good impression. I decided to get my locks changed. But the challenge was coaxing a locksmith to come in at 1:00 am to do the job. After a few locksmiths denied service and a few didn’t even bother answering the call, I stumbled across http://www.MidlothianLocalLocksmith.com. The website claimed 24/7 service and I hoped that they really meant that! Within thirty minutes of placing the call, Ron had reached my place. After taking a look at my locks, he suggested that I needn’t get rid of all my locks as a few were still good enough to get me past the assessment. That was news to me! And if he hadn’t taken the privilege to bring it to my notice, I would have ended up spending a lot of money that night! An hour later, he was done replacing my locks with brand new ones and fixed up a few faulty ones! And the total bill – it was way less than I expected it to be.
