Veterinary Holistic Center When your pet is sick or in pain, and you are exploring options to help, the Veterinary Holistic Center is here for you.  We are Northern Virginia’s only animal clinic dedicated to holistic pet care. Whether you are looking for canine acupuncture or feline chiropractic care, VHC works with your regular veterinarian to provide comprehensive, integrative therapies to complement your pet’s medical care. Our mission is to improve your pet’s quality of life and effectively treat chronic conditions with holistic therapies, including acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and chiropractic for dogs and cats. Holistic pet care is part of your pet’s total care and can be integrated with conventional therapies. We coordinate closely with your regular veterinarian for detailed records and status updates, as well as aligning care.  Holistic veterinary care has proven beneficial in treating a variety of health issues in dogs and cats. Our clients have seen results with mild to severe mobility impairment, spinal injuries and disc disease, pain due to injury or arthritis, skin problems and allergies, kidney disease, pancreatitis, Cushing’s disease, diabetes, Addison’s disease, hypothyroidism, urinary problems, digestive issues, separation anxiety and other behavioral issues, effects of chronic exposure to vaccines and other medication, and seizures. When you entrust the care of your beloved pet to us, we consider all available options — whether canine chiropractic or acupuncture services or homeopathic medicine for you cat. We assess the overall physical, mental and emotional health and well-being of your pet. We believe holistic care can improve your pet’s life.
