As far as I’m concerned, I don’t care much for swanky adverts by firms making over-the-top claims, for when it comes to fulfilling the promises in the real world, they fall short! I discovered this the hard way when I found myself locked out of my home and was left waiting for two solid hours before I contacted another firm. That other firm happened to be Alexandria Lock Master and the immediate response left me stunned. I regained entry within 30 minutes after placing the call to them. Quality comes first, and I learnt this the hard way. The cheap key I got made from the hardware store broke off in the lock within a week. That’s when I hired Alexandria Lock Master. I’ve heard a lot about them. But did they live up to the hype? I must say, they definitely did! Gary managed to extract the broken pieces from the lock carefully to avoid causing any damage to it. He then made two new keys within 15 minutes. As I held the keys, I could make out the excellent workmanship on it, and could tell that the material used was of high quality. And the prices? Compared to other locksmiths and hardware stores in Alexandria, VA, the prices seem low! If you’re a stickler for quality, call them on 703-828-9074 - you won’t be disappointed!!!

I called Alexandria Lock Master and left a message, which was promptly returned by Paul, who was professional, polite and thorough in explaining who was going to be coming to my home. (A solace to a woman). The locksmith arrived on time, and he was exquisitely precise and neat. He explained what he was doing each step of the way. He spread paper to catch the drill shavings and cleaned up afterwards. He gave me some safety tips before he left. Come to think of it, I should have married him. What a nice guy. Gorge called me back within about 20 minutes of speaking with the dispatcher. He quickly identified the solution -- one that I could tackle more quickly on my own. called Alexandria Lock Master because my lock had become somewhat corroded... Keys were not fitting in easily. A receptionist answered the phone and promised a call back from the locksmith within a few minutes. Sure enough, 2 minutes later Paul was calling me and after explaining the issue, he suggested I save myself some money and just spray with wd40 and to call him back if that didn't work, he could have someone out by the end of the day. I'm completely embarrassed I didn't think of that myself, but I tried it and it worked like a charm. So, I have no in -person experience with them, but the honesty and promptness was greatly appreciated. This will be my go-to locksmith the next time I have a legitimate issue ;)

I couldn’t afford any more delays. I’d already waited 3 hours for a technician to arrive and get the spare keys made. I decided to cancel out on the firm I’d hired and called Alexandria Lock Master instead. From the point of placing my call to using the newly crafted keys, it took less than an hour! Believe it or not, that’s how fast these guys were!!!! Wish I hadn’t wasted so many hours on the other firm that claimed to provide ‘Fast’ service! From now on, if I ever need a locksmith in Alexandria, VA, I’ll call Alexandria Lock Master! I recommend you should too! They’re number one!

I must admit it, these guys are amazing! After reading a slew of positive comments, I was still not convinced. But Jeff from Alexandria Lock Master changed my mind for good! He was right on time, and charged me a very reasonable rate for rekeying all the locks to respond to a master key system. I didn’t know I had to pay a pittance for phenomenal services..
