Can’t thank Sandy Locksmith Service enough! I was terrified to death when I was stranded outside my home. My neighbors were on a vacation and I didn’t really know anyone else in Sandy, UT. There was to be an assessment by my insurance company the next morning and I knew my age-old locks weren’t gonna make a good impression. I decided to get my locks changed. But the challenge was coaxing a locksmith to come in at 1:00 am to do the job. After taking a look at my locks, he suggested that I needn’t get rid of all my locks as a few were still good enough to get me past the assessment. That was news to me! And if he hadn’t taken the privilege to bring it to my notice, I would have ended up spending a lot of money that night! An hour later, he was done replacing my locks with brand new ones and fixed up a few faulty ones! And the total bill – it was way less than I expected it to be. Before turning into Sandy Locksmith Service’s loyal customer, I’ve had quite a few miserable experiences. Here's one: there was this shop in Sandy, UT (I don’t exactly recall its name) that claimed to offer services at rock-bottom prices. They say that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! But the lucrative prices clouded my judgment and I called them up for a simple lock repair job. At the end of it all, I’d spent around $500 on a totally unnecessary smart lock, some new locks on my windows and a brand new chain lock. I didn’t feel cheated at that point. But when the smart lock stopped working within the next two weeks, and the security door chain popped out of its socket, that’s when I felt cheated! Eric from Sandy Locksmith Service was sympathetic and told me that it was a common practice among most locksmiths to quote cheap rates initially and find ways to scam customers later. She had tried getting the broken pieces out herself but had only managed to push them in further.
