Just Awful. BUYER BEWARE! This is not a real flooring company. They are two less than honorable brothers that do this on the side at night. Work is incredibly sloppy and they are very difficult to deal with. I agree with everything Gretchen says above. I wish we had seen her review before. A complaint has been filed with the Mass. Office of Consumer Affairs for good reason.

If you are looking to give away your hard-earned money and get nothing for it, these are your guys! Jorge and Phillip Dias are unreliable, shifty, unprofessional, have a poor work ethic, and will leave you holding the bag. We contracted with them mid-March and a month later our floors are still not complete! Sawdust was left between the cracks of the boards due to inadequate vacuuming and blow-out, debris is sealed between the wood and topcoat, the edges were not scraped well and old stain is still visible, the grain is raised in many areas because of poor screening between the two layers of topcoat, and there are many areas with what appear to be drips over the topcoat. In addition, they left paper towels with floor product sitting in our kitchen sink, effectively ruining it, sloshed it on a wall, which will require repainting, splashed it onto a section of VCT tile, for which we have yet to find a remedy, and left countless cigarette butts carelessly tossed around our front yard and driveway. What they don't tell you up front is that this is an after-hours gig for them, so their work is done in the evening when natural light is poor, they are already tired from a full day's work, and they can't do their work effectively. After nearly three weeks of trying to get them to return to fix the problems at our home we gave up on them and reached out to a REAL professional hardwood floor refinisher. During those three weeks we heard excuse after excuse after excuse and tried to be understanding and compassionate about that day's particular woe, but when we found pictures posted to their Facebook page for new jobs they'd taken and completed while they weren't addressing our issues, we reached the end of our rope. We have filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! Dias Hardwood Floors has cost us thousands of dollars and left us with an enormous mess that will be even more expensive to remedy.
