Sifu Terrance is one of a kind! He's patient but discipline towards the Tigers, and commanding but respectful towards the adults. He knows his kung fu jargon and moves very well; and he keeps his dojo clean and well-maintained. You and your kids will be glad to take his classes.

My husband and me started about two years ago to take tai chi classes at www.SanRafaelMartialArts.com in 4th street San Rafael just acroos Rainbow ice cream. We have very severe health issue (heart problem for one, and nervous system disorder for the other). Our health improved incredibly for both of us, and the open heart surgery has being postponed more than a year already. We can do things that were completely irrealistic two years ago as far as balance, flexibility, strength and internal peace thanks to the care of the teacher Terrance Thornton. He is very dedicated, knowledgeable and compassionate. He works with all his connections to find what is the best for each student. Right now the classes are very small (between 3 and 5 students at most) and we get a lot of attention especially when you are new. It did change our lives on many levels. Hope this is helpful.
