What a great experience! Brian has transformed a nervous, dog aggressive, scared canine into a confident, happy dog. I knew she had the potential to be a happy dog but I lacked the skills to help her. Brian understood all of my concerns and taught her how to be a dog. I cannot express enough thanks for what he has accomplished!

Wanting to share our experience with Canine Behavioral Services; We are a family of five with three teenage girls and a year ago had to put our 14 � year old male Dalmatian to sleep as he was getting old and starting to fail. A year later 02-20-2011 we purchased two male Dalmatians born on 01-01-2011 from a breeder in Washington State. We were only looking for one dog however they had two males, one black spotted and the other liver spotted, and the liver spotted was deaf and the breeder was hoping they would go together. So we ended up with two seven week old puppies and not having a puppy for the past 14 or so years it was an experience. At 12 weeks we found the two dogs occasionally fighting and we were having a hard time separating them as they were locked on to each other. As a few weeks went on we found the problem becoming more frequent so we decided to attend a dog behavioral class at the Westerly Animal Shelter and at the class we met Brian as he spoke briefly about dogs behaviors and training. After the class my wife took his card as we were impressed with his knowledge and dedication to dog training. Shortly after getting home (same night) the two 3 month old puppies began fighting and one of their ears were cut open and the others leg. As a result my wife called Brian left a frantic message looking for some assistance. He got right back to us the next morning and scheduled a session with us within two days. Brian is amazing! Brian first started helping me when I was looking for someone to help correct some "dog-aggressive behavior" issues with my dog. My dog initially got along with all other dogs and then began becoming unpredictably aggressive with some dogs. I began to feel uncomfortable taking her anywhere that we might run into other dogs. Brian came to my house and we began training. What I found out is that I was the one who needed the training! To watch Brian with my dog (and other dogs) is amazing! He commands a calm confidence, and is patient with a real understanding. And although I'm not completely trained yet, I have gained a much better understanding of how to be my dog's leader. She is much more balanced and looks to me to let her know what to do. I am so thankful to Brian for giving me a better understanding of what the issues are and how to help manage them. I also board my dog with Brian when I go away and know that she is well cared for and learning while she stays. I have complete confidence in Brian to do the right thing for my dog and for me. Brian Manning is THE BEST-He not only educates one's dog, but their Owner as well! I have never seena person with such dedication and knowledge in his field. Brian has helped me correct issues with an overweight Golden to recommending the Sprenger collar to teach my dog to stop puling and chasing after anything he saw while I was walking him-It is now enjoyable to walk my dog! I did send my overweight Golden to Brian's boot camp, and she came home a slimmer and much happier dog-Tess was actaully willing to go for a walk as opposed to her usual just sitting on the lawn and eating grass! Brian can help with every and any kind of canine behavioral issue! Why send your dog to another state, when we have The Dog Whisperer right here in Rhode Island-People send their dogs from all over the country to HIM! He's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We adopted Sami, a one year old Weimaraner mix, and for the first week we had her she was such a well behaved dog. And then "the real Sami" started to emerge. Her separation anxiety began to escalate, she destroyed everything in our house; shoes, socks, sunglasses, carpets, pillows, gloves! She began to show fear based aggression toward my husband. She would snap at our 13 year old daughter whenever they would play. Anyone that came to our door was greeted with wild barking. She would charge after other dogs. She was very mouthy with us, sometimes nipping. She was so horrible on a leash that we avoided walking her. I decided to call Brian to see if he could help. I explained to Brian what was going on with Sami and he gave me my option of In-home visits with a possibility of an In-patient 45 day stay. Brian is the best. He gave my Rottweiler and my family a new lease on life. We were at the end of our rope dealing with our Rottie's fear-based aggression. Brian taught us how to be calm, consistent, and confident dog owners. Our dog now enjoys trips to the dog park, beach, and Petco. Thanks to Brian we no longer have to live in fear, but can actually enjoy owning a strong breed.
