I will start with the stairs. They rebuilt my stairs, and it is not code complaint in many different ways. The first step is 10 inches, the top step is 6 inches, the steps in between are around 7 1/2" to 8 1/2". Steps are not supposed to vary more than a 1/4" so those are huge differences. Most of the treads are at an extreme downward angle, and there is a huge gap from the bottom riser to my floor which looks terrible. The bottom step is already coming loose and creaking, only a week later. Next, the subfloor, the agreed upon material was 3/4" tongue and groove OSB, which is the proper material to use for subfloor. Instead of using the agreed upon material, they completed the job using 1/2" OSB without even consulting me or even telling me afterwards. Luckily I realized this and brought it up, because if I didn't I assume they would have never told me, or deducted the amount for using cheaper materials. 1/2" OSB is absolutely not right for my application, and they should have known this. Jeff gave me a BS reason as to why they had to use 1/2" instead of 3/4", and that reason turned out to be completely untrue. Now my floor sounds extremely hollow and bends all over the place. They also installed tile in both of my bathrooms and my kitchen. It all seemed fine until I realized a few days later that a few of the tiles started bouncing and there are sizable cracks in the grout. This bounce is caused by a hole that was cut in the subfloor. Now they ignore me after I realize this

Yes !
Last October we had an excellent job done Installing an exterior door. Friendly, concerned, all was super !
( They must be very busy because they do not reply to our requests for MORE work from them...well, they offered to send quotes but cannot follow up on them after a month )
Very sad. They seemed quite sincere and nice.
