I have a teenage girl in High School. She was failing math, and I enrolled her at Mathnasium in East Cobb, Georgia. This Mathnasium location is owned and operated by Steve Kleinrichert. I was a very happy customer, and I had a very good experience with the East Cobb, Georgia, location of Mathnasium. The Mathnasium tutors know math, and they know how to work with a child or teenager, getting them to enjoy math as well as understand it. Within 6 weeks, my teenager went from failing her math tests and quizzes to passing with several test scores in the 70’s. That was the short term result – there is still more work to do, and I am fighting the teenage battles. Mathnasium works great for the parent. It’s very economical – your child can attend several times a week (including Saturday mornings) at the monthly price. If, for example, your child attends twice a week for 90 minutes, you can do the math and see that the hourly rate is far below what you would pay elsewhere. The tutoring is done in small groups, but many times the groups are really small, like 2 kids at a time (it depends on who attends that day). And SUPER IMPORTANT, you can bring your child or teenager in any time, within their business hours. This flexibility was really important to me. Instead of having another strict appointment, like we had to be there at 5pm, I had the flexibility of bringing in my teenager at any time, if I couldn’t leave work as planned…. (more / cutoff) .
