KQVMFM is very active in the community. We promote new and unknown bands, support non-profit events for good causes.

KQVMFM has been in operation for almost 7 years now. Originally WQVM Radio in New York City, KQVMFM came about after I moved from New York to Los Angeles, California. I had the station WQVM Radio since the early 80's, where we thought people had a right to listen to the best music without being bombarded with commercial brain washing, hence the inception of WQVM.
