I JUST LOVE ACE. THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE RIGHT PARTS FOR MY WEED EATER. AND NO ONE HAS MORE PVC PIPE IN STOCK.

Mr. Craig Smith, the owner of Ace Transmission was so very helpful with my elderly mother by explaining the issues with her transmission and quoted her an excellent price. Her Toyota Camary runs great and Ace had her car back to her within 2 days. Not only will I recommend Ace Transmission to all my family and friends I will not take my vechiles even for oil changes anywhere else. Exceptional Customer Service. Thank you! Johnathan Atwell.

I'm sorry to say that I did NOT have a good experience with Ace Transmission in Woodstock, owner Craig Smith. The first person I spoke with was Robbie, the manager, and he sounds so honest and trustworthy. He also puts down everyone else's price, and says that you don't really know what you're getting with other people. The $888 price is just to get you in the door. I had him quote me a few of the parts that I know I needed for transmission, and I thought for sure we could get in the range of $1200 - $1400, this is a 2002 ford windstar, nothing new for sure. After I contacted him back, he told me the price would be $2100, I told him we couldn't do that, then he said he would have to charge us $200 something for the tow, and would start charging me daily to keep my car there. None of this was told to me at the beginning. I told him the first price I was quoted at another shop was $1200, he acted so confident that they would be close to that. Then when we couldn't do it for that price, he totally changed. He did find a used transmission for us, so now it will be $1680 something, So now the car is ready to pick up but he said you can't drive this thing home though. He said it has a bad radiator leak & misfire, & the engine mounts are broken. I knew about the leak, & it's the water pump not the radiator, the engine mounts were just put in new in October 2013 & they weren't broken when we took them in. I tried to contact Craig Smith, owner by email, no reply! Be aware!
