This is probably the worst run program for struggling young adults in the country. The only person with a degree in psychology is the owner Tom Carter. Cathy Carter is just a business woman who wants nothing to do with the struggling young adults than to pick from our parents wallet. The "staff" that works there is a struggling heroin addict and former gang member who still tries to act "hard." Staff, Tom, Cathy, or there kids are not held accountable for the way that they treat there students. I remember multiple times where Tom and Jarod (staff) threatened to "kick my ass" or threatened other students. Cathy hinted to me to beat up another student.In no other business is this kind of behavior tolerated in any way shape or form. They might say because they don't tolerate my behavior, but I have never been in any kind of legal issue and never had any kind "behavioral issues" in school. Cathy would try to manipulate me into getting a reaction so her dear husband Tom can label me as a kid with behavorial issues. She has said things like "I don't know how you have any friends" and "I feel bad for your parents cause they had to raise a kid like you." It made me feel like I wasn't even a human being. They are common bullies who have absolutely no accountability of there behavior towards there students. If I were defend myself in the littlest manner, I would be scolded and called "disrespectful." Tom is a caring individual, but has obvious anger issues and takes it out on students.
