This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review for a service, but in Joe's case I believe it would be a crime not to leave a glowing review! I first met Joe while I was interviewing electricians for a family property five years ago. At that point he was the 14th potential electrician I had spoken to after having thrown out the previous contractors for shoddy work and overbilling - a mistake I was in no mood to repeat. I hired him for a small job as a test, which he completed quickly. More importantly, during this job he gave excellent advice and feedback for problems and how to avoid them. Joe was the first contractor I'd met who gave me advice that could potentially lose him profit. Since then I've found that to be a consistent character trait in an honest man, which Joe most certainly is. In the following years I've hired Joe for projects ranging from new bathroom wiring, to box and line upgrades - In every case, his work has been impeccable. No wobbly outlets, over-tightened plates, loose or unkempt wires, everything perfect. I've also recommended him to friends and I'm happy to say I've received calls from them raving about Joe's work - when's the last time that's happened over a contractor? Hopefully I'm not overselling Joe, I don't feel that I am. In the world of contractors, quality is very hit or miss; It's frustrating to search for and hire those hits, and even more frustrating to hire those misses.

I would highly recommend using Spina Electric for all your electrical projects. Joe is new to the Ridgewood area and was handed his business card out to local stores in town. I knew I needed some work done in my home and decided to give him a call. We exchanged emails and set up an appointment for him to come take a look at what work I needed done. He was prompt the appointment, sent the estimate in a timely manner and was able to complete the final job quickly. He is neat, thorough and has excellent work ethics. We will use him again for other projects in our home.
