What a terrible experience! They were supposed to merely install a new alternator and change the serpentine belt on my car. It took them almost 3 weeks to repair my car, and when I saw it I realized that they had driven the car for almost 500 miles. Then my car died, and it was because the alternator was never changed. Now I'm out $450 and still have to have my car repaired. I could cry!

TOP WRENCH GARAGA, AKA IMPERIAL MOTORS, AKA AUTOFIXATION (their business in the City of Chicago) is a scam auto repair garage that keeps changing their name, and is owned/operated by JOSEPH CIPOLLA, AKA ADAM JOHNSON, JOE SPINA, ANTHONY M. MISCEO, JOSEPH J. CILPOLLA, JOSEPH J. CIPOLA, JOSEPH J. CIPOLLA, JOSEPH JOSHUA CIPOLA - who is currently on parole from Michigan (http://mdocweb.state.mi.us/otis2/otis2profile.aspx?mdocNumber=655715), and has an extensive criminal record in Illinois as well (http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Illinois/Cook-County-IL/Joseph-Cipolla.html).
Joe Cipolla claims to be an ASE Certified Mechanic, but is not. He also claims his business, Top Wrench Garage, is BBB Accredited, but in fact it is not.
Numerous people have been the victims of fraud in this regard, myself included. I brought my 2001 Chevy Impala to TOP WRENCH GARAGE for a tune-up and a new radiator. Joe Cipolla told me the cost would be $600 for both. When I pulled out my credit card he said, "I'd have to charge substantially more if you use a credit card, so cash would be best". I gave him the money.
I then had difficulty getting my car back from them - they had the car for over a week, and refused to give it back, giving me numerous excuses. When I did get the car back, it still wasn't running right. I brought the vehicle back to Joe, who then had it for another 1 1/2 weeks - again, he refused to give me my car; I actually thought of filing a police report for a stolen car. When I fina

Hi Joseph, I know you check your account so I will make this very clear to you. It is Loretta and Isiah you know the two customers who you got over for almost $3000 claiming to put in a new Front and rear gaskets, radiator, wires, alarm, map sensor. I can keep on going but I don't even see the need for it. On top of not fixing my husbands Cadillac and not putting any parts you claimed to put in you also would only take cash from us claiming you dont take credit cards as the previous customer stated. You also took my husbands car on 2/14/2012 to your new spot in Chicago as you say your new garage and claimed to fix his car again but of course did not. On top of taking my husbands car to the city and not fixing it you got two tickets sent to our address. I am going to give you till 3/13/2012 to contact me. You have my number. If any one else would like to contact me feel free to. My email address is [email protected] Joseph J. Cipolla you are dirty. Just so you know I have your ID that you happened to have left in my husbands car when you claimed to have fixed it. I will post all your information on here ID #, address, birthdate everything unless I hear from you by 3/12/2012 with all our money returned to us. If you think I am lying about your id how is this for ya 1404-90 I can and will put all your information on the internet and make your life a living nightmare unless we here from you. If not that is fine as well. It's your call. Ball is in your court!!!
