AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We contracted with CCS (Charlotte County Seawall) only to be dragged around for every little thing they could do and delay us on. It started out "simple" but they quickly added more excuses to additional costs (shore is too eroded, you cant actually get rip rap now, your lot is too wet, etc, etc). It was an absolute nightmare. The front desk staff (ladies that attempt to greet their customers on the phone or in person are the rudest most obnoxious woman I have ever had to deal with. Incredibly unprofessional and outright arrogant woman. I stayed with CCS for 8 months trying to get a seawall, because I believed their reasoning behind all their excuses. I finally terminated the contract after they wanted over $50k for the job that started out as $11,000 job. I HIGHLY recommend NOT using this outfit. They don't know what the heck they are doing and are poorly managed. We moved to another seawall company, and after 3 weeks, YES!! 3 weeks...we have a wall, dock, and all the backfill PROFESSIONALLY done. It is absolutely amazing the work HONC did for us.
