Remodeling is a JOKE. I should say you get what you pay for. He comes of NICE and give you a low ball rate but, skims on the materials. Pull a permit if you use this IDIOT. Make sure the Village or City comes out to check his work. My pint is that he did a horrible job sealing my Steam Shower. With in 2 weeks after our Dream Bathroom was complete... the Nightmare began. Water started to leak from our ceiling into our dinning room. Darek and Son???? forgot to seal the shower with a plastic membrane and the BAD tile job started a leak. I Don't recommend this company. unless you want a bad job and to pay more later.

We were remodeling our basement and Darek was recommended to us by our neighbors who hired him to finish their basement. After three weeks of work, we ended up with a beautiful laundry, recreational room, office and additional full bathroom with a shower. We love everything, the lay-out, quality of work, time to complete and of course very reasonable price tag. We asked a lot of questions, all were answered patiently. We made some revisions during the construction and Darek was willing to do them without charging us extra. We picked all colors and finishes which was important especially in the bathroom like tiles, fixtures and cabinets. The guys worked long hours everyday, they were careful when bringing material inside and cleaned up all debris once finished. We are extremely happy and satisfied with this contractor. Very positive experience, Darek and Sons earned my best recommendation by providing good work ethics, honest and clear estimate and by doing what he said he'd do. Thanks again, Stefania
