SBW ‎ - Sep 6, 2011 Perfect Instruction for Kids Phoebe Loughery Stables has a beautiful location, wonderful instruction, and the friendliest ponies. Our kids love going there every week. Phoebe herself teaches them not only how to ride, but also how to take care of these wonderful animals....and has a way of teaching kids that works extremely well. Her staff members seem almost like an extension of her family, know all the ponies & horses very well, and are fun to be around. My daughter first started lessons with Phoebe while spending select afternoons with her grandparents. I was apprehensive at first about a 6 year old riding horses & ponies, but after going with her to these lessons myself, am completely comfortable about it, and am happy that she is doing this. Now my 5 year old son is starting the process of instruction with Phoebe also. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful? She is equally wonderful with both adults (me!) and kids (my 5 year old son!). My horses are happy and extremely well cared for. They keep the facilities in immaculate condition while keeping the comfort and welfare of the horses always paramount. It is a beautiful place either to come and enjoy a peaceful moment with your horse or to have a lesson that Phoebe has tailored to your specific needs and goals.

First class training in a very supportive and encouraging environment! Phenomenal care for both the animal and the athlete. Plentiful and ample turnout, as well as, impeccable grooming and care. Wonderful training program that helped my young teen take a green pony, that we have been working on for more than two years on our own, to the winner's circle in just six weeks time and they look amazing! My family truly appreciates, and is grateful for, the thoughtfulness, friendship and expertise of Phoebe, Bill, Els and Adolfo!
