Cathie Anders Fitzjohn was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and grew up in the small town of Orange Park. She has always loved art and horses. She studied drawing and painting from several well known local artists and painters in the Jacksonville area. Cathie worked as a freelance artist and illustrator for several years doing product design and illustration for two national giftware companies. Cathie Anders Fitzjohn was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and grew up in the small town of Orange Park. She has always loved art and horses. She studied drawing and painting from several well known local artists and painters in the Jacksonville area. Cathie worked as a freelance artist and illustrator for several years doing product design and illustration for two national giftware companies. In 1980, Cathie took a stained glass class from a local artist and fell in love with glass. She has been working with glass almost exclusively since then. She has created commissioned windows for homes all across the United States. Working with clients creating windows for their homes has become her passion. She also works in fused glass creating whimiscal pieces for homes and gardens.
